Sustainability Report Assurance
As a business we pride ourselves on being open and transparent about our performance. As part of this commitment, our annual sustainability report is independently assured to the internationally-recognized AA1000 standard to ensure it is evidence-based and accurate.

Independently Certified Sites
Our sites are independently certified to comply with a range of national and international standards on quality, safety, the environment, energy, good manufacturing practice and sustainable sourcing. Eight of our 13 manufacturing facilities are now ISO 14001 certified.

Each year, we voluntarily participate in the CDP Supply Chain Disclosure Program, the worldās largest repository of self-reported climate change and water risk data. This initiative enables customers and investors to assess risks and make informed decisions that contribute to a more sustainable future.
In 2024, we achieved:
- Climate Overall Score: B Management Level
- Water Security Overall Score: B Management Level
This reflects our commitment to strong environmental practices across our global operations and highlights the year-on-year targeted actions we take to manage climate and water-related challenges. These assessments benchmark Innospec’s performance above sector, regional and global averages.
For Climate, we were pleased to score an āA: Leadership’ for subcategories ‘governance, risk and opportunity disclosure’, ‘scope 3 emissions’ and ’emissions reduction initiatives’. We also scored āA: Leadership’ for ‘governance, risk and opportunity disclosure’ and ‘water pollution management procedures’, in the water security assessment subcategories.
EcoVadis is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) platform for supply chain sustainability. It independently evaluates and benchmarks the sustainability performance of over 150,000 companies in 185 different countries. The platform assesses a company’s environmental, labor, ethical business and sustainable procurement activities. Companies are provided with guidance on how to improve their sustainability performance by developing corrective action plans.

In 2024, we achieved:
The EcoVadis Gold Medal, for the fourth consecutive time, for our sustainability management system and performance. Achieving gold puts Innospec in the top 5% of all companies rated globally in our sector.
