As a business we pride ourselves on being open and transparent about our performance. As part of this, our ESG Report is independently assured every year to ensure it is evidence-based and accurate.

Additionally, our sites are independently certified to comply with a range of national and international standards on quality, safety, the environment, energy, good manufacturing practice and sustainable sourcing. The map shows the certifications our sites have received.
Our participation in platforms and initiatives such as CDP and EcoVadis allow us to benchmark our performance against our peers and industry best practice.

Innospec has now participated in the CDP Disclosure Program for seven consecutive years. Initially undertaken at the request of several customers, in 2020 we made the decision to disclose as both a self-selected company and submit publicly. This is in line with our efforts to increase the transparency of our operations.

- Climate Overall Score: B Management Level
- Water Security Overall Score: B Management Level
- Supplier Engagement Overall Score: B Management Level
All three CDP assessments confirm we are operating at, or exceeding, the chemical industry, regional and global averages.
EcoVadis is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) platform for business sustainability assessment that independently evaluates and benchmarks the sustainability performance of over 130,000 companies in 180 different countries and 220 industries. Suppliers are provided with guidance on their strengths and areas for improvement to support the assessed companies in focusing their sustainability efforts and developing corrective action plans to improve their sustainability performance. Our 2024 assessment is currently being evaluated.

The EcoVadis Gold Medal, for the third consecutive time, for our sustainability management system and performance. Achieving Gold puts Innospec in the top 7% of all companies rated in our sector globally.
