Chemical innovation has long focused on improving quality of life by creating better materials, processes, and products. Today, that mission has evolved, with chemistry playing an important role in enabling lower-carbon solutions.

The contribution of fuel additives is an important example of this. In 2025, our marine, gasoline, and diesel additives enabled an estimated 21.6 million metric tons of COā‚‚e in performance related emissions reductions. These reductions were driven by improved fuel efficiency, cleaner combustion, and optimized engine performance compared with equivalent unadditized fuels, across global transport and marine sectors.

To put this into context, producing these additives generated approximately 137,000 metric tons of COā‚‚e. Based on this comparison, the estimated carbon benefits achieved though additized fuels were more than 150 times greater than the emissions associated with their manufacture.

These results demonstrate how chemical innovation can deliver measurable efficiency improvements for customers. We are proud of the role our chemical technologies play in helping customers reduce fuel consumption and associated emissions.

At Innospec, we believe our impact extends beyond our sites and into the communities we are part of. Recently, two colleagues from our Ellesmere Port, UK site used their annual volunteering day to support the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, a local cause that holds personal significance for many of our employees.

As part of the hospiceā€™s ā€˜Dedicate a Daffodilā€™ campaign, they helped install metal daffodils across the grounds of Chester Cathedral. Each daffodil was purchased in memory of a loved one, coming together to create a powerful and moving display that celebrates lives while supporting vital hospice care. This initiative highlights the impact of creating a culture that encourages colleagues to give their time and skills to causes that matter to them. We are proud of our employees for the difference they continue to make, both inside and outside the workplace.
