In 2024, Innospec Oilfield Services employees came together to support a vital cause - organizing employee blood drives to benefit the local blood banks within their communities.

Our employees donated over 110 units of blood throughout the year, helping to support 330 lives. Every donation represents the potential to save lives and support those in critical need.

At Innospec Fuels Specialties, weā€™re committed to supporting a more sustainable future through our innovative fuel solutions that deliver both performance and improved environmental impact. The marine transport sector, a significant contributor to global carbon emissions, is under pressure to adopt cleaner, more efficient practices and were proud to be part of the solution. One of our customers using Octamar Ultra HF since 2022, from our marine fuel additive range, has reported cleaner combustion chambers, reduced soot, enhanced waste heat recovery, and improved efficiency, all leading to cost savings and improved reliability. In 2024, our marine fuel additives were used to treat an estimated 4.8 million metric tonnes of marine fuels. With fuel economy savings of 2.1-3.9%, this has helped to avoid approximately 366,000 MT of COā‚‚ emissions, reducing the carbon footprint of shipping companies using our products. With these solutions, weā€™re not just helping to optimize marine operations, weā€™re actively supporting the industry in navigating its sustainability challenges. Circularity is an impactful concept that aims to minimize waste and maximize efficiency by rethinking how we can re-use and recycle our resources to reduce the impact on the environment.

Our manufacturing plant in Leuna, Germany is integrating circularity principles into its daily operations, through participation in the PRS Green Label pallet return scheme. Since joining the program in 2021, the site has returned over 780 pallets, earning the PRS Green Label certification and placing it in the top 30% of participating companies.

Our Oilfield Services (OFS) sites in the US are looking for ways in which they can divert waste away from landfill by recycling materials, such as pallets, plastics, cardboard, scrap metal, and e-waste. By identifying new recycling routes for waste streams, our OFS business has reduced costs, enhanced operational efficiency, and demonstrated a commitment to a reducing its environmental impact. In 2024, our OFS business recycled a total of 1.8 million pounds of materials, an impressive 20% increase over 2023.

These achievements reflect the power of small, consistent actions to drive meaningful environmental impact. We continue to look for ways to rethink our resource use, embrace innovative recycling programs and explore how to reduce waste and extend material lifespan.
