At Innospec, we believe in supporting the causes that matter most to our employees through our Innospec Cares program. Last year, our employee, Maria Thompson, based in Ellesmere Port, UK, embarked on a heartfelt mission to give back to the renal dialysis unit at the Countess Of Chester Hospital, who cares for a loved one of hers.

After learning that 70,951 patients in the UK are currently on dialysis and waiting for a kidney transplant, Maria decided to walk 70,951 steps, one for each patient, to raise funds for a much-needed vein scanning machine for the hospital’s dialysis ward.

Through double match funding, Innospec Cares was proud to contribute an additional Ā£2,292 to the Ā£1,146 she has already raised, helping make the purchase of this essential equipment possible and improving the patient experience for many. We’re proud to support initiatives like this and our amazing employees who make them happen.
