At Innospec, reducing the energy use and associated greenhouse gas emissions at our manufacturing sites has been a long standing focus. These efforts have resulted in a 23% reduction in absolute Scope 1 & 2 emissions since 2014. To advance our progress further, in 2024, we assessed viable options towards a decarbonization pathway. This included process optimization, energy reduction and recovery programs, and utilizing renewable energy sources, to build a credible roadmap toward our climate goals. Building on this progress, weā€™re pleased to announce our new decarbonization targets: ā€¢ 50% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 2034 (vs. 2014 baseline) ā€¢ 28% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2034 (vs. 2022 baseline) This is a critical step forward as we drive sustainable growth that supports global decarbonization ambitions. Our Oilfield Services teams achieved strong progress in 2024, expanding into Canada, delivering record Drag Reducing Agents (DRA) sales, and growing market share across all product segments.

ā€¢ Reducing environmental impact was at the forefront, from the use of solar-powered chemical pumps saving 1,560 gallons of fuel annually to a 20% increase in recycling at manufacturing facilities.
ā€¢ Safety remained a top priority, with safer driver training helping to achieve a 47% reduction in vehicle incidents.
ā€¢ We also gave back, raising $125,000 for US military veterans through our 10th annual golf tournament, holding regular blood drives and partnering with Meals on Wheels to support seniors in need.

In 2024, our Fuel Specialties business delivered record financial results, backed by innovation, strategic growth, and a commitment to sustainability.

ā€¢ The use of our marine, gasoline and diesel fuel additives sold in 2024, helped customers avoid 20.8 million metric tonnes of COā‚‚e*, over 200x our total emissions for our site operations.
ā€¢ We expanded our product range, including solutions for biofuels, HVO, and cold-weather renewable diesel, to support the energy transition.
ā€¢ From ECOCLEANā„¢ improving diesel fuel efficiency by up to 18.98% in the oil and gas industry, to Octamarā„¢ helping to reduce emissions across global shipping, weā€™re making an impact across a range of sectors.
ā€¢ Weā€™re also proud to support Indigenous communities in Brazil and Canada through STEM education initiatives, fuel technology partnerships, and our new Indigenous Peoples Relations Policy.
*Based on conservative typical fuel economy improvements of between 2.4% - 4.8%. Savings calculated compared to use of unadditized fuels.
