Ellesmere Port, UK, received their second Order of Distinction Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for its excellent health and safety performance in 2017. The award recognizes 16 consecutive years of achieving RoSPA Gold.
In 2017, we were also pleased to receive recognition for maintaining a safe and healthy work place at both our High Point and Salisbury sites in the US. Both sites qualified for a Silver Safety Award from the North Carolina Department of Labor (Safety Awards) program. The award recognizes that both sites did not have a lost time accident in 2017 and maintained a CDAW (cases with days away from work) of zero. The latest released US chemical industry average CDAW is for 2016, which was 0.6.
