In line with our longstanding commitment to minimize our impact on the environment, for the second consecutive year we sourced 100% renewable electricity at all our manufacturing sites which has resulted in zero scope 2 emissions linked to electricity.
Renewable energy now accounts for 25% of Innospec’s total energy mix. Our energy reduction program, alongside the procurement of 100% renewable electricity at all our manufacturing facilities, has delivered a 52% reduction in our absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions since our 2006 baseline year.
